How this works
NDSS recommends ordering one month’s supply at a time, and reordering around 14 days before you run out, or when you start using your second-last sensor.
This page adds up sensors: supply runs out = start date + (spare sensors + 1) × wear days. It then shows both of NDSS’s timing guides and uses the earlier one.
NDSS also sets yearly limits on how many CGM products you can access, based on each device’s lifespan and what you accessed in the past 12 months. This page cannot see your limit — call the NDSS Helpline on 1800 637 700.
The calculator assumes each sensor is worn for the full wear days. Real use can differ; follow your device’s instructions and your diabetes team.
This tool does date arithmetic on published NDSS ordering guidance. It is general information only: it is not medical advice and does not tell you when to change a sensor or how to manage your diabetes. Always follow your device’s instructions and your diabetes health professional. Confirm ordering rules and limits with the NDSS (ndss.com.au, 1800 637 700). In an emergency call 000.
