What this is. Every hormonal pill (and the vaginal ring) currently on the PBS General Schedule, laid out by what's in it — progestogen, estrogen and dose, pack cycle — with PBS item codes and the PBS-listed brands. Filter it, tick up to four to compare side by side. It deliberately says nothing about which pill suits whom: eligibility and selection sit with the prescriber (see the UKMEC tool and the further reading below).

Not on this list ≠ not available. As of the September 2026 PBS General Schedule, pills containing desogestrel, gestodene, nomegestrol, dienogest + estradiol valerate, or cyproterone acetate + ethinylestradiol are not PBS-listed (cyproterone and dienogest appear on the PBS only as single-ingredient products). Some of these are TGA-registered for private prescription — check the ARTG and the current Product Information rather than this page.
